I ordered the one in the photo (black shell/casing with white "Vsonic" logo" but received a different iteration of the GR07 Classic. The one I received is still black (smaller embossed black text on black shell/casing), and comes with nice packaging, definitely original/genuine. Despite it being a different model/iteration (not sure if the one I got is the 2017, 2018 or earlier model), I'm still happy! Out of the box, the Vsonic GR07 impresses! Good balance. Bass is detailed (both mid and sub) and punches when needed, but is less in quantity than I'm used to (the GR07 is more reference-like). Mids are natural-sounding (perhaps due to the bio-cellulose driver) with good focus. There's sibilance in the Treble, but I suspect that after the recommended 100-hour burn in, the sibilance would be tamed. Soundstage is above average, more width than depth & height. Good imaging and separation. Overall, a nice neutral IEM! Not exaggerated in a particular frequency range, but still entertaining! Let's hope the build quality is robust (only time will tell). Recommended product! :-)
I had the "VSD5S" before.
And the GR07 is like the same to me (but I'm not a pro).
Since it costs 30€ more, I'm just rating 4 stars. But nothing is wrong with the GR07. It's just, if you don't have a "sensitive" ear, it's not worth the +30€.
The sound has great detail as expected and they fit securely in my ears.
I've been using the headphones for about a month. Sound quality is great for the price, build quality seems sturdy. I'm able to fall asleep with them in my ears without discomfort, and am able to use them for several hours without discomfort. I did expect them to be a little bassier, but if I wanted bass I would have bought the bass edition.
One issue I had with them is the 3.5mm headphone plug won't go into my smart phone when the phone cover is on due to the large plug design. To get around this problem I shaved the edges of the plug - no issues with that.
Would recommend these to anyone :)
This is my third pair of IEMs and they might just be the charm. I've ogled the big dollar makes and models, but I simply can't justify spending hundreds. After a fair amount of searching I came across the GR07 Classic. The presentation is forward, and they offer a fairly neutral, detailed sound. Instrument placement in recordings is noticeable and the illusion of a mid-sized soundstage make these a pleasure to listen.
The sound signature of these is at the very heart of the sweet spot for me. As soon as the right seal was found these sounded just right. Super comfortable over ear design, lightweight earpieces and very nice and supple cable combined with the soundquality and fair price, make these perhaps the best bang for buck earphones i know.
This is an awesome IEM for the price. There's more sibilance than I would like, but otherwise it's exceptional.
Can't beat the GR07's at this price.
I've also had to return a pair of GR07's to Lendmeurears before for repair and they sent me back a GR07 v. 2 to replace my v1 without charge or any questions, so top notch vendor, top notch product, great price ; can't beat it!
Wow. What a step up in performance and enjoyment for me. I read plenty of reviews and opinions on these before deciding to purchase them this past Black Friday, and at that sale price, I have to say these are worth every single penny. There is this crispy, beautiful warmth and spaciousness to these that is just so much fun and pleasing to listen to. At first, I thought the bass was lacking a little too much and the highs were a bit sibilant, but after messing around with the included tips and settling on the little grey isolation foam tips, I have to say that everything sounds wonderfully balanced. There is plenty of clean and deep bass. The mids are punchy and warm. The highs are clear and crisp. So lovely to listen to. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Now, the only worry I have is of the build quality and their durability as I have ran into a lot of people having issues with one or both sides dying out, so, crossing my fingers that these last me a good while.
